PRO BONO RESEARCH SERVICE

We offer pro bono research for individuals with low or fixed incomes who have a pressing need to find living family members.

This service is available, as time permits, for patients and clients whose case is presented by social workers and non-profit organizations.

WHO MIGHT USE THIS RESEARCH SERVICE?

  5. BulletIndividuals facing serious illness who need family health history

  6. BulletPersons with a pressing emotional need who cannot afford to pay for research services

HOW ARE REQUESTS FOR PRO BONO RESEARCH SUBMITTED?

Research requests are made by social workers or non-profit organizations on behalf of their individual patients or clients by submitting a research application describing the request. As soon as possible upon receipt of the application we will advise whether we think we can help.

I NEED TO FIND MY FAMILY. HOW DO I ASK FOR PRO BONO RESEARCH?

Please speak with the non-profit organization, social worker, or health care provider who helps you. Ask them to contact us on your behalf.

IS THERE A FEE?

Absolutely not. There is no charge for either the research time or the expenses involved in the search. We are glad to be of assistance.

Please note that only requests submitted by social workers and non-profit organizations on behalf of their clients and patients can be considered.

We regret that time does not allow us to accept all assignments.
