Pro Bono Research Service

We offer pro bono research for individuals with low incomes who have a pressing need to find living family members.

This service is available, as time permits, for patients and clients whose case is presented by social workers and non-profit organizations.

• Patients in hospice longing to reconnect with family
• Elderly parents looking for estranged adult children or grandchildren
• Adults who want to reconnect with their parents
• Siblings searching for their estranged brothers and sisters
• Individuals facing serious illness who need family health history
• Persons with a pressing emotional need who cannot afford to pay for research services

Research requests are made by social workers or non-profit organizations on behalf of their patients or clients by submitting a research application describing the request. As soon as possible upon receipt of the application we will advise whether we think we can help.

Absolutely not. There is no charge for either the research time or the expenses involved in the search. We are glad to be of assistance.
